Good Bye BC Cancer Agency

Phase two of the development of the BC Cancer Agency started today. The old "MacGavins Bakery" built in 1923, which later became the BCCA in the 1960's was set to begin demolition. Over 40 years of research took place in the building and now that the BCCA has their new home it was time to bid farewell to the old building and begin work on phase two.

Quite the media event today with newspapers, television crews and a ceremonial goodbye with dignitaries.

So here you go... take a peek at the slide show and you'll see how I spent my morning :)
