So much to do....

and so little time! I'm off in four weeks and I've got so much on the go with my Scrapaholics Club, home life, social life, work etc....

The Scrapaholics just finished a Secret Sister Swap, which I hosted, it was fun and a great way for new members to get to know others in the group.

Our monthly meeting last Wednesday was probably the most productive meeting we've had. The group will be celebrating it's anniversary so we're in the throws of planning an anniversary crop in September. Of course I've volunteered to do the goodie bags! I've got time before I need to tackle this but I will have a meeting next Wednesday with Joanne and Hayley to sort out some of the details of the event!

There are several of us that are in a recipe card swap, we're creating themed 8x8 recipe cards for each month. June is BBQ, July is Salads & Veggie Sides, then August is Summer Fruits. I've just finished June's recipe cards and will make a start on July this week... I've had to set myself a goal to complete both months before July 10th (that's our next meeting) and the day before I leave on vacation! I can tackle August post-holiday. We plan on doing this for a year, so at the end we'll have a full 8x8 album with some yummy recipes and some fantastic layouts!

I went to a crop on Saturday and worked on my travel journal for the holiday (woo hoo!) I created the cover, ticket section, postard page and several journaling pages. I just have two more pages and the back cover to complete and it's ready for the vacation!



On June 24th I'm attending another crop, which I will be teaching a "Technique Make N' Take" I'm doing Alcohol Inks and creating a wonderful card with them.

On June 27th I'm at the LSS doing a Monogram Mini Book class, it should be fun!

I've got all the cards made and ready to mail for July birthdays & anniversaries, I'll pop them in the mail box the morning of our departure.

Did I mention that I'm already booked for the Crop 4 Kids Charity event in October!! Nothing like filling the calendar up months in advance... is there? LOL :)

As for the rest of my life... well, DH and I are headed over to Valdez Island with our friends Ann & Rob for another adventure on the Canada Day long weekend... those of you that remember our adventure from last year know what I'm talking about. We always have a blast! We'll be away from June 29 - July 2


Ann & Rob are hosting a BBQ on 22nd of June (I'm doing the sunshine dance in the hopes that it doesn't rain that day!) Our friends Helen & Keith will be there too! Keith is arriving from Scotland this Sunday and is here for a couple of weeks, so it's a great way for the 6 of us to get together all at once!

I haven't even started to think about packing for the holiday, I guess I should think about that in the next couple of weeks... I did book an appointment last month for a manicure, pedicure and hair cut for July 10th! Typical girly thing to do... book the beauty/pamper session well in advance :)

I do manage to actually work, keep the house in order, eat and sleep... there just aren't enough hours in a day! I'll start making my lists this weekend.... and as usual tackle each item with grand enthusiasm... all except the laundry & ironing!
