I had a great weekend visiting with my family. We spent most of the day on Friday down at Granville Island. The market was buzzing and all the fresh fruit and veggies are spectacular!
On Friday evening we went to the local pub, Stamps Landing, for dinner & drinks. Afterwards we came back and I made everyone special coffees. Yummy!
After a very large breakfast on Saturday morning, Graham and Trish headed in downtown to do some last minute shopping, mom & dad headed to Stanley Park to take the dog for a long walk and DH & I did some errands and relaxed. Graham & Trish's flight home was at 8pm so we took them to the airport and stopped in the Elephant & Castle pub for a quick drink before saying goodbye. I made a curry for dinner and we spent the evening with mom & dad looking at our holiday photos.
We had a quick visit with mom & dad on Sunday morning, they had to leave at 11am to make the ferry home. In the afternoon I met my friend Ann downtown at the Art Gallery. We went to see the Monet to Dali exhibit... it was fantastic! Afterwards we went to the Bellagio Cafe for meal.
Back at work yesterday, but went out with friends in the evening to celebrate my birthday with them... another favorite haunt on mine Favorito's... the best Italian food in Vancouver!
I was spoiled rotten by everyone! It was a great birthday weekend!
