Musical Morning

I love being part of the Vancouver Music community!! As you know our lecture series this year is about Robert Schumann, Clara Wieck Schumann and Johannes Brahms.

We were treated today! Pianist Linda Less Thomas, violinist Joan Blackman and cellist Zoltan Rosynya played a selection from the piano trios of the three composers. It was a wonderful 90 minutes of beautiful music.

If you are interested in hearing these wonderful classical composers I would highly recommend to following CD's.

On another musical note, the Vancouver Music Festival Workshop is well into it's co-ordination phase for 2008. I'm on the Festival committee again this year and I'm already starting to get the details for the program. It should be another wonderful event which will be held from Feb. 25, 2008 - Mar. 7, 2008 with a final honours concert being held on March 8th, 2008. Stayed tuned for more information!
