Nice Surprise

I had a lovely surprise yesterday... my brother, SIL & niece are in Vancouver for three days!

They arrived yesterday and were busy getting settled in and visiting with friends. So we arranged to spend some time together this morning. So I "kinda" bunked off work this morning (I went in at noon) went to meet the family downtown at 8 am at the place where they are staying and had a wonderful visit and some great coffee too! My brother makes a killer Americano :)

All is well with the family and my niece is growing so fast! I haven't seen her since September when I went to visit them for her 1st birthday. She's jabbering away (mama, dada, up up, 'ig (short for pig) and has mastered a lot of signing for such a young age. It really amazed me that she can point to a chicken in her book, look at you and then show you the hand sign for chicken.
She also has her two front teeth! (That's a big deal, since she only had her two bottom teeth for the longest time).

All in all, it is a nice surprise to have them back in Vancouver, if only for a couple of days! and get to visit.
