Weekend Adventures

First of all... Happy Belated Birthday to Wendy! (you kept that quiet!) Hope you had a wonderful day!

My weekend started on Friday... I went to the ferry terminal at noon to pick up mom so we could start our "girls weekend". We went directly to Fabricana to shop for fabric, it's an absolutely wonderful shop. Mom managed to find exactly what she wanted.

When we returned home we relaxed with a glass of wine and prepared for our evening out. Mom treated Norbert and I at our local Italian restaurant for dinner, afterwards, Norbert drove mom and I to the Centre for the Performing Arts where we enjoyed the most spectacular concert!

Colm Wilkinson was in town and I got tickets for us to see him. He's an amazing entertainer and we had such a great evening!

Saturday we spent the entire day at Circle Craft. We literally shopped until we dropped! Norbert was kind enough to drive down and pick us up... we were pooped! We had a quiet evening at home, ordered Chinese take away and then mom and I did a mini pedicure and manicure while watching TV and sipped wine. No better way to spend a quiet night.

Sunday was a quiet morning and then it was time to go to the ferry again! The weekend went by so quickly! but we had a fantastic time. Mom and I also got the holiday menus sorted out... I'm already getting excited about Christmas!

I also had the day off yesterday so I spent some time visiting with friends... I had coffee in the morning with Jaleh and then spent a few hours sipping the most wonderful green tea and Sue's house. I had a chance to see Sue's jewelry "workshop" and spent time picking out beads etc. for a couple of items for myself.

It was a great weekend.... now I have the rest of this week to finish off some work, tidy the house, do laundry, go grocery shopping and get ready for my two crops this upcoming weekend!

sounds like a super fun weekend and that Circle Craft place looks amazing. That is what I miss about my family being so far away :-( - days like that shopping with my Mum!
