'HOOPLA' - I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by Jan to share 12 random things about myself that are Christmas related.

Here are the rules:

1. List 12 random things about yourself that have to do with Christmas
2. Please refer to it as a 'hoopla' and not the dreaded 'm'-word
3. You have to specifically tag people when you're done. None of this "if you're reading this, consider yourself tagged" stuff is allowed...then nobody ends up actually doing it. The number of people who you tag is really up to you -- but the more, the merrier to get this 'hoopla' circulating through the blogosphere.
4. Please try and do it as quickly as possible. The Christmas season will be over before we know it and I'd like to get as many people involved as possible.

12 Random Christmas Things About Izzy:

1. I'm such a kid when it comes to Christmas! I get very excited!

2. I share many traditions with my friends during the month of December

3. Depending on if we are home or away for the holidays determines the type of tree we put up... artificial or live. This year it's artificial because we're away at my parents for the holidays

4. I LOVE watching the good ol' classic holiday shows. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is my favorite!

5. I enjoy playing holiday carols on the piano and the flute during the holidays.

6. I'm so darn organized that I'm usually finished shopping by the 1st of December. It leaves me plenty of time to bake and enjoy the social side of the season.

7. Traditionally I'm the first person up on Christmas morning.

8. This year I shopped at all our local shops and avoided the malls!

9. I always decorate my home on December 1st... carols playing in the background and rum n' egg nog in my hand.

10. I share the spirit of the season with everyone I see.... I say "Happy Holidays" to everyone during the month of December....the teller at the bank, the grocery store clerk, the postman, the UPS man etc.

11. I love to see the Festival of Lights at Van Dusen Gardens!

12. I wear Christmas items each day during December... earrings, shirts, sweaters, pins, necklaces, socks etc... Basically I'm a walking, talking, Christmas decoration for the month!
