Review & New

These were my 2007 goals.... how did I do? Not bad! if I do say so myself.

1) Visit with family as often as possible (local and long distance)
DH & I spent a good portion of 2007 visiting with family & friends.
We made a few trips to the island to visit my parents and they came to Vancouver too. The ferries can be a bit of a pain in the "you know what"!

My second cousin Graham and his partner Trish came for a visit from the UK. Graham actually came twice, once on his own in Jan/Feb. and then with Trish this past summer.

DH's uncle Uwe and aunt Dyan came for a visit from Lafayette.

I went to Germany (solo) to visit with DH's family and then we went together to Germany and the UK in July to visit with family and friends.

DH's brother and family came to Vancouver in the spring and we made a trip up to Kelowna for Thanksgiving.

We spent a lot of time with our local friends as well in the form of celebrations, gatherings and weekends away.

2) Create more "ME" time (i'm too busy doing everything for everyone else I forget about me!)

I did quite well on #2. I went to the spa more for some pampering and I also went to a crop once a month just to scrapbook for me!

3) Eat less of Mrs. Vicki's potato chips! LOL :)

#3 is the hardest for me... I love Mrs. Vicki's chips, but I did quite well in curbing my consumption of them! I didn't give them up, I just didn't sit and devour a bag of Salt n' Vinegar in one go! LOL

4) Exercise more often (does running around like a chicken with your head cut off count as exercise?) LOL :)

I walked more and started using a dance DVD.

5) Stay in touch with long distance friends

With email, blogging, telephone calls, RAK's and cards I did stay in touch with a lot of my long distance friends.

GOALS FOR 2008

#1 - Continue to stay in touch with family and friends.
#2 - Complete 80 scrapbook pages in 2008 (paper and/or digital)
#3 - I've challenged myself to try to use up the gigantic paper stash I have in my scraproom before the end of the year.
#4 - Exercise more and lose 15 pounds.
#5 - Have more date nights with DH

Oh you're good, I make a point of losing my list of resolutions by the end of the year so I can just say, you know, I think I did them all . . . .
