.... the words spoken by my DH on Saturday morning. His going away party ended up being a 13 hour drink fest! Lunch started at noon in a pub near the office and they carried on into the afternoon at another pub until dinner time, (that's when I joined them) and then we went off to another pub. We ended up back home with a handful of friends for a nightcap (not that they needed any more alcohol!) DH had fun but certainly paid the price for it on Saturday. I was the responsible one on Friday, making sure that my DH and his friends all made it safely into taxis. I'm pretty sure that DH wasn't the only one uttering "never again" on Saturday.
We're busy getting things organized for our mini holiday next week. I've got some laundry going and getting things tidied up today. I'll pack us up on Monday night and then we're on the road Tuesday AM.
