After dinner on Friday evening we decided to go to our local pub for a few cool drinks. The MLB was being shown on the TV's in the pub and I happened to see an ad for The Keg's Summer Lobster Fest. That got me started!! By the time we finished our drinks we had our weekend planned, let's have a Lobster dinner on Saturday night and there's a "nooner" baseball game at Nat Bailey Stadium on Sunday.
Saturday morning we walked down to Granville Island Market and had decided to check out the prices of the lobster at both the restaurants and in the Fish Markets. We decided it would be fun to have our own dinner at home. So we went to the Lobster Man (yes that's the real name) and bought two live lobsters.
Sunday we went to the ball game. Vancouver Canadians vs. Spokane Indians it was a great afternoon and a really good game that ended up going to 14 innings! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon... baseball, beer, roasted peanuts, veggie dog (for me) foot long (for Norbert). Spokane eventually won the game.
Another busy week ahead and some fun planned too! Off to see Corteo (Cirque de Soliel) in the big tent on Wednesday night with Ann and I'm going to a Space Camp Crop Fundraiser on Friday with my friend Jo. Should be fun!Have a great week everyone!
