Guest Designer for August :)

I'm so excited! I was asked to be the Guest Designer for the month of August over at Pick of the Patch. My friend Jo kindly brought me the kit for the month and I've got to design 3 12x12 layouts and either an altered project or card to be uploaded to the Gallery on August 7th! I've got some great ideas swirling around in my head.... I've just got to go & print out a handful of photos and I'll be ready to put those creative juices to work :)

Had a great weekend too.... I cropped on Friday night at my friend Diane's place and finished my travels chipboard album. It's a whopping 36 pages!!! I'm so happy it's done :)


On Saturday I houseboat and kitty sat for my friend Ann... it was a gorgeous day out on the houseboat and the kittens were great fun! Sunday morning the Fraser river was like glass.... here's the view I had while sipping coffee on the deck at 8am.
and then on Sunday from 10am - 5pm, I scrapbooked again! with my Scrapaholics Club. I finished off another mini album that I made for photos of our niece Erica.
Graham and Trish arrive this weekend from the UK so I'll be busy getting things organized around the house.
The annual HSBS Celebration of Light fireworks competition starts this Wednesday evening... Canada is first up! So I'll be watching that from home with a few friends. The USA is on Saturday night and next Wednesday is China.... the grand finale on August 2nd! It's a fabulous event :)
