Saturday we strolled down to Granville Island to hear a group play.... the down side(we think) at Granville Island, there's too much other music flowing in and around from buskers and sound system speakers at businesses that you can't really enjoy the "complete" sound of the group performing, it's too distracting.
On Sunday we walked over to Yale Town to David Lam Park, much better venue! and you definitely could hear only the performers on stage. Norbert's bongo teacher was performing with one of his groups... it was a "jazzin' good time".
