2008 was another whirlwind year for me, thank goodness I did have a jet pack to keep me going! in 2008 the Life of Izzy included: concerts, scrapbooking, work, volunteering, socializing, travel, organizing, births, deaths, weddings, fundraisers, anniversaries, family, friends and fun! if you've followed my blog throughout the year you know this is just the tip of the iceberg, using single words to describe an incredibly busy and fulfilling year.
I know I've ended the year with somewhat of a 'bang', but I won't let a broken ankle keep me down for too long... just as long as the Dr. says is necessary and then I'm strapping that jet pack back on and proceeding into 2009 full of vim and vinegar.
My lifelines right now are the laptop, the house phone and the cell phone. I had my first visitors yesterday... Penny stopped in on her way to work for 15 minutes and Ann came for a glass of wine in the afternoon. It was great to see them! I'll be touching base with all my GF's locally.... visitors will be most welcome. I just have to make sure DH is here to let you into Fort Knox!~! Expect an email or phone call real soon girls :)
