It's official! A benefit concert has been announced for the Vancouver Women's Musical Society.
Avan Yu is performing a benefit concert for the Vancouver Women's Musical Society on March 13, 2011 in the Koerner Hall at the Vancouver Academy of Music. He has received generous support from the VWMS in the past and is delighted to take part in this fundraising effort.
Starting at 6:45pm, the VWMS hosts a Wine & Appetizer reception before the concert. The concert begins at 7:30pm and you'll be captivated by this young man's stunning piano performance.
He is an extremely talented young man.... born in Hong Kong and raised here in Vancouver. Check out Avan's bio on his website and also hear snippets of his music. You'll be amazed at how much this 23 year old has accomplished! I've seen/heard him 3 times in the past couple of years and believe me...... you do not want to miss this opportunity!
