Two posts in one week....

I'm on a roll! this is post #2 this week. :)

Last night Ann, Helen and I went to Incendio for dinner to support the Dining Out for Life folks who are raising money to help fight AIDS.  25% of our dinner bill was donated to the cause.

Incendio is in Vancouver’s historic Gastown on the corner of Columbia Street and Alexander in the old Anchor hotel. The space had operated for nearly 20 years as Al Forno, now called Incendio and having had a "facelift" by re-exposing all of the existing brick and opening up the kitchen to the diner's view, they have managed to retain the heritage feel and it's great to see the now over 30 year old wood fired brick oven.  Incendio is a great place to gather with your friends or family... give it a try!
I've been playing with my new toy.... I am the proud owner of a portable photo printer....yes I said portable.  It's a Canon Selphy CP800 and it weighs in at only 2 lbs and it's just slightly bigger than my DSLR camera!! and OMG....I have so many options, I can print direct from the computer, or from a USB stick, or direct from my camera/card.  There are various little things I can do with it, I've only just started to play, but I like what I've been able to do so far. The best thing....I'm taking this with me to the Rosemary Heights Scrapbooking Retreat in April and I can print what I want right then and there!
The next best thing.... it was only $99.99 at London Drugs!

Oh oh oh oh!!! Very cool! I was looking at the Epson one and they want close to $300 for it! If you're happy with the Canon, I'm going to go get it too. Ack! Will I make it home without spending the $100 today? I don't think sooooooo!! LOL
