Mum and I picked up where we had left off in May on the dress making.... still having to make some adjustments to the back, putting in the zipper and hemming the skirt.
Well it turned out that we had some serious adjusting to do! We had to take out about 4 inches from the skirt and another few inches from the back.
By the end of Saturday evening it still, was not up to mom's standards. So we stopped and enjoyed the evening. Mom was up at 12:30am and stayed up until 3:30am! Making adjustments, it was bugging her so much she couldn't sleep!
Sunday morning I put the dress on voila! mom had sorted out the trouble. She worked so hard to get the dress just perfect and she did. Mom just needs to hem it and will send it to me in the mail.
It wasn't all sewing this weekend. We did some shopping in the village and enjoyed visiting. Dad and I watched the Germany vs. Denmark Euro 2012 football match on Sunday - yeah! Germany won!! and then it was time for me to get ready to head home.
Great weekend but way too short!
