Is the proverb true?

In like a lion, out like a lamb. The month of March usually starts with cold, unpleasant weather, but ends mild and pleasant.

Well I hope so.... because I'm looking out my window this morning at the snow coming down!  Enough already.... I want it to be spring!

My trip can't come soon enough!
