Photo Blogging Challenge - February 2014 = RED

I joined in on a monthly photo blogging challenge this month over at A 'lil Hoohaa.  Our theme this month was = RED.  Well I was seeing RED all month, everywhere I went I saw red, particularly business signs! There are only so many signs you can photograph and I needed to change it up so I stretched myself a little and took some 'odd' photos.  February included Valentine's Day and the Olympics.... so there was a lot of RED going on in the city of Vancouver.  Here are my 5 photos for the challenge.

Multi colored bins in Yaletown. This is the first time I've noticed they come in different colors.

So many tones of red here.... saw this in a shop window

Another look through a window..... so many red balls! what fun...

Go Canada Go!

One of the oldest drive thru dry cleaners in the city.... and a really old fashioned rotating business sign.

A nice selection of 'red' here. I feel like jumping into those red balls, but I'd probably twist something ;)

Nice shots. I thought those red balls were tomatoes at first. Go Canada!

Great job incorporating Valentine's Day and the Olympics plus a little dash of your home town. Snappy write-ups, too.

(OOPS - need to be sure I sign my kids off before reading / commenting on others' posts for this month.)

Red mittens from two winter Olympics ago. Do you own them? I would think that they would be quite rare by this time since the Sochi Olympics have just passed.

I like the mittens picture!

The bins one is interesting, too. Makes you wonder if each color means something different (trash, papers etc.)
